H Alpha Bank, ως η πρώτη τράπεζα που εισήγαγε τις υπηρεσίες Private Banking στην ελληνική αγορά το 1993, συνεχίζει να διακρίνεται για την αφοσίωσή της στην καινοτομία και την ποιοτική εξυπηρέτηση, αναφέρεται στη σχετική εταιρική ανακοίνωση.

Εξειδικευμένα στελέχη της Τράπεζας με κατάρτιση και πολυετή εμπειρία καλύπτουν όλες τις επενδυτικές ανάγκες πελατών μέσα από ένα εκτεταμένο δίκτυο Private Banking που διαθέτει σημεία φυσικής παρουσίας στις σημαντικότερες πόλεις της χώρας.

Barclays continues to invest in the UK appointing senior industry leader Mohammad (Mo) Syed as Head of Private Bank and Wealth Management UK and Crown Dependencies

Barclays has reiterated its dedication to the UK market. Demonstrating that commitment, Sasha Wiggins, CEO of Barclays Private Bank and Wealth Management (PBWM) has appointed senior private banking and wealth management expert, Mo Syed, to lead Private Bank and Wealth Management in the UK and Crown Dependencies, subject to regulatory approval. Mo will become a direct report of Sasha and will be given a wide remit to grow the business.
In this new role, Mo will be responsible for leading the UK Private Bank, Wealth Management, Digital Investing and Crown Dependencies. Bringing together these businesses under a single leader will enable a full spectrum of services to be provided to clients in the UK – for those investing for the very first time, through to clients requiring comprehensive private banking and investment services.
Mo, a well-known figure in the global market, brings deep expertise across the sphere of investment banking, wealth management and fund management. His previous role was CEO Asset Management, Coutts and NatWest and prior to this was Interim CEO at Coutts. In his earlier career he held senior roles at Sanwa International PLC and Sanwa Financial Products (now Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Group) and MaxCap Partners (UK Multi-Family Office).

On Mo’s arrival in February 2025, Barclays Private Bank and Wealth Management business will be led in two parts.
• Mo Syed will lead the UK business, supporting clients who are starting out on their investment journey, right through to serving ultra-high net worth and Family Office clients.
• Annabelle Bryde, already a member of the Executive Committee, will lead the International Private Bank, serving global clients in markets where there is a significant opportunity for growth.
Deutsche Bank appoints Raffael Gasser as Head of Wealth Management and Private Banking in Germany

Deutsche Bank has appointed Raffael Gasser as Head of Wealth Management & Private Banking in Germany. In this business area, the bank serves affluent and wealthy up to ultra-high-net-worth clients in its home market. Effective November 1, 2024, Gasser will assume the position and become a member of the Private Bank Executive Council. He will report to Claudio de Sanctis, the Deutsche Bank Management Board Member responsible for the Private Bank.
Claudio de Sanctis said: “Throughout his career Raffael has combined business areas several times, has consistently aligned the offering to the needs of the clients and has thus enabled new business and growth. With his deep knowledge of the German market, he brings the best experience to lead our business in the home market into the next phase: As the clear market leader among affluent and wealthy clients in Germany, we now want to continue to grow through a closer integration of Private Banking and Wealth Management. I am looking forward to further driving our strategy together with Raffael.”
Gasser joins from UBS in Zurich, where he has led the Northern European business with wealthy clients. Prior to UBS, he spent 14 years at Credit Suisse in various senior positions in Wealth Management, most recently as a member of the Management Committee of Global Wealth Management and as Head of Private Banking International, the business unit for wealthy clients worldwide who were managed in Switzerland. Prior to this, he was among others as CEO of Credit Suisse in Luxembourg responsible for various European branches and before that for the German market. The Swiss national started his career in 2002 with Goldman Sachs, followed by a tenure at McKinsey & Company from 2003 to 2009 where he focused on corporate finance and banking.
Raffael Gasser said: “It is a unique mandate to lead Deutsche Bank’s Private Banking and Wealth Management as market leader in its home market. I am convinced that we can further expand our leading position through outstanding personal advice in combination with digital channels and data analysis. In addition, there is great potential in the comprehensive offering of the Global Hausbank and in connecting the Private Bank, Corporate Bank and Investment Bank, which is of particular interest to family entrepreneurs. Gasser will relocate to Frankfurt with his family. He will work closely with Dominik Hennen, Head of Personal Banking, who oversees the broad retail business of Deutsche Bank and Postbank. As a member of the Private Bank Executive Council, Hennen also reports to Claudio de Sanctis. Until Gasser joins, Hennen will temporarily head private banking, while Stefanie Rühl-Hoffmann, Head of the team for ultra-high-net-worth-individuals (UHNWIs) has interim responsibility for Wealth Management in Germany.
Credit Suisse expands Wealth Management in Germany and appoints Sven Stephan to lead local Wealth Management team

Credit Suisse is expanding its Wealth Management business in Germany, with a focus on Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) and entrepreneurial clients as well as sophisticated family offices. Sven Stephan has been appointed to lead and build the new onsite dedicated Wealth Management team of Credit Suisse (Deutschland) AG.
Credit Suisse wealth management clients in Germany will now have on-the-ground advisors, based in Frankfurt, experienced in serving clients with institutional-like needs, while also still having access to the bank’s extensive booking and solution capabilities in Switzerland. The dedicated team will also collaborate closely with the local investment banking and asset management teams.

Prior to joining Credit Suisse (Deutschland) AG in 2021 as Managing Director, Sven Stephan led HSBC Deutschland’s Private Banking team. He has 23 years of experience in banking, 17 of which are in wealth management, is based in Frankfurt and reports to Dr. Frank Heitmann and functionally to Mischa Tschopp, Market Area Head of Germany.
Deutsche Bank appoints Claudio de Sanctis as Global Head of Wealth Management

Deutsche Bank has appointed Claudio de Sanctis as Global Head of Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, succeeding Fabrizio Campelli who joins the group Management Board as Chief Transformation Officer.
De Sanctis, who assumes the role with immediate effect, was previously Head of Wealth Management in Europe, which serves clients in around 30 countries including Deutsche Bank’s home market of Germany. He was also Chief Country Officer of Switzerland, a role he will retain.
He joined Deutsche Bank Wealth Management in December 2018 from Credit Suisse, where he spent five years, initially as Market Area Head Southeast Asia for Private Banking, Asia Pacific, and most recently as Head of Private Banking, Europe.

With assets under management of approximately 215 billion euros (as at September 30, 2019), Deutsche Bank Wealth Management is one of the largest wealth managers worldwide. Earlier this year it embarked on a plan to hire an additional 300 client-facing employees globally by 2021 as well as investing in its existing people, systems and technology. De Sanctis united the Europe region to include Germany where Wealth Management is the market leader, hired dozens of prominent bankers, and generated an increase in net new assets excluding deposits in the past two quarters.
Biographies
Fabrizio Campelli, 46, was the Global Head of Deutsche Bank Wealth Management since October 2015. He was previously Head of Strategy & Organizational Development as well as Deputy Chief Operating Officer for DB Group and a member of the Group Executive Committee of Deutsche Bank. He joined Deutsche Bank in 2004 after working at McKinsey & Company in the firm’s London and Milan offices, focusing on strategic assignments mainly for global financial institutions. Born in Italy, he holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Business Administration degree from Bocconi University.
Claudio de Sanctis, 46, was the Head of Deutsche Bank Wealth Management Europe, a region that serves clients in almost 30 countries including the bank’s home market of Germany, since joining the bank in December 2018. Based in Zurich, he has also been the Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank (Switzerland) Ltd, since February 1, 2019. He was previously Head of Private Banking, Europe, at Credit Suisse, which he joined in 2013 as Market Area Head Southeast Asia for Private Banking, Asia Pacific. Before then, he spent seven years at UBS Wealth Management Europe, most recently as Market Head Iberia and Nordics. Earlier in his career he was Head of Key Clients Unit Europe at Private Banking in Barclays focusing on UHNW clients and also worked at Merrill Lynch Private Wealth Management EMEA. He is an Italian national.
Angel Chen and Donald Taylor to join Deutsche Bank Wealth Management in Los Angeles

Deutsche Bank Wealth Management has announced that it has hired Angel Chen and Donald Taylor as senior Relationship Managers in Los Angeles, strengthening its offering to ultra-high-net-worth individuals in the region.
“We are thrilled to welcome Angel Chen and Donald Taylor to Deutsche Bank Wealth Management. They both bring extensive industry experience that will help us serve our growing number of ultra-high-net-worth clients on the West Coast,” said Patrick Campion, Head of Deutsche Bank Wealth Management Americas. “We continue to hire top industry talent as we grow our presence in key markets in the Americas.”
Chen joins from City National Bank’s Private Client Services where she oversaw a team managing client relationships with complex trust, investment and lending needs. She has nearly 20 years of executive-level management experience and previously held roles at Bank of the West, Wells Fargo, Union Bank of California and Bank of America.
Taylor, who has over 20 years of industry experience, also joins from City National Bank’s Private Client Services where he was a senior advisor to high-net-worth families, non-profit organisations, foundations and professional services firms. Prior to City National Bank, he was a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch.
Both Chen and Taylor will report to Michael Rogers, who joined this month from Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group as the West Coast Head of Deutsche Bank Wealth Management Americas.
