Diana Shipping Inc. Announces Time Charter Contract for m/v DSI Aquarius With Stone Shipping

Diana Shipping Inc., a global shipping company specializing in the ownership and bareboat charter-in of dry bulk vessels, today announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Stone Shipping Ltd, for one of its Ultramax dry bulk vessels, the m/v DSI Aquarius. The gross charter rate is US$14,500, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum December 1, 2024 up to maximum February 1, 2025. The charter is expected to commence on January 19, 2024.
The “DSI Aquarius” is a 60,309 dwt Ultramax dry bulk vessel built in 2016.
The employment of “DSI Aquarius” is anticipated to generate approximately US$4.52 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.
Diana Shipping Inc.’s fleet currently consists of 40 dry bulk vessels: 4 Newcastlemax, 9 Capesize, 5 Post-Panamax, 6 Kamsarmax, 7 Panamax and 9 Ultramax. As of today, the combined carrying capacity of the Company’s fleet is approximately 4.5 million dwt with a weighted average age of 10.57 years.

Euroseas Ltd. Announces Time Charter Contract for its Fuel-Efficient 2,800 teu Feeder Containership, M/V Tender Soul, to be delivered in February 2024

Euroseas Ltd., an owner and operator of container carrier vessels and provider of seaborne transportation for containerized cargoes, announced it has entered into a time charter contract for M/V TENDER SOUL, a newbuilding fuel-efficient 2,800 teu feeder containership currently under construction, for a minimum period of eight to a maximum period of ten months at the option of the charterer, at a gross daily rate of $17,000. The new charter will commence within February 2024, upon delivery of the vessel from the shipyard.

Diana Shipping Inc. Announces Direct Continuation of Time Charter Contract for m/v Amphitrite

Diana Shipping Inc., a global shipping company specializing in the ownership and bareboat charter-in of dry bulk vessels, announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has extended the time charter contract with Cobelfret S.A., Luxembourg, for one of its Post-Panamax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Amphitrite. The gross charter rate is US$12,250 per day for the first thirty (30) days of the charter period and US$15,000 per day for the balance period of the time charter, in each case minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum November 15, 2024 up to maximum January 15, 2025. The new charter period is expected to commence on January 12, 2024.
The “Amphitrite” is a 98,697 dwt Post-Panamax dry bulk vessel built in 2012.
The employment extension of “Amphitrite” is anticipated to generate approximately US$4.46 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.

Diana Shipping Inc., a global shipping company specializing in the ownership and bareboat charter-in of dry bulk vessels, announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with SwissMarine Pte. Ltd., Singapore, for one of its Capesize dry bulk vessels, the m/v New York. The gross charter rate is US$16,000 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum October 1, 2024 up to maximum December 7, 2024. The charter is expected to commence on June 11, 2023.
The “New York” is a 177,773 dwt Capesize dry bulk vessel built in 2010.
The employment of “New York” is anticipated to generate approximately US$7.54 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.

Diana Shipping Inc., a global shipping company specializing in the ownership and bareboat charter-in of dry bulk vessels, announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Tata NYK Shipping Pte. Ltd., for one of its Kamsarmax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Myrto. The gross charter rate is US$18,000 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum July 15, 2023 up to maximum September 15, 2023. The charter is expected to commence on August 3, 2022.
The “Myrto” is a 82,131 dwt Kamsarmax dry bulk vessel built in 2013.
The employment of “Myrto” is anticipated to generate approximately US$6.16 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.

Diana Shipping Inc., a global shipping company specializing in the ownership of dry bulk vessels, announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Koch Shipping Pte. Ltd., Singapore, for one of its Newcastlemax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Los Angeles. The gross charter rate is US$26,250 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum January 15, 2023 up to maximum March 15, 2023. The charter commenced retroactively as of January 30, 2022. The m/v Los Angeles was chartered, as previously announced, to Engelhart CTP Freight (Switzerland) SA, at a gross charter rate of US$14,250 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties.
The “Los Angeles” is a 206,104 dwt Newcastlemax dry bulk vessel built in 2012.

The gross charter rate is US$24,750 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum January 15, 2023 up to maximum March 15, 2023. The new charter period is expected to commence on February 2, 2022. The m/v Polymnia is currently chartered, as previously announced, at a gross charter rate of US$12,100 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties.
