Industrial lines insurer HDI Global appoints new line manager for short-tail business in Germany

HDI Global SE has appointed Michael Westhoff as the new line manager for HDI’s short-tail business in Germany. He will take up the position with the industrial lines insurer at the location in Hannover on 1 July 2021.
Short-tail business includes underwriting and account management in the lines property and multi-risk insurance, engineering insurance, marine insurance and fleet insurance. In his future function, Michael Westhoff (photo) will cooperate closely with the branch offices of HDI Global in Germany. The current incumbent, Jürgen Rolke, will gradually hand over his duties to Michael Westhoff in the run-up to his retirement on 31 December 2021.
During his professional career lasting more than 25 years, Michael Westhoff has worked for national and international insurers and brokers in the industrial and corporate arena. He has held management roles that included portfolio management, customer support and sales. He has a degree in insurance business administration (DVA) and a Master of Insurance Law (LL.M, University of Hamburg).

Employees and our customers too will miss him when he leaves the company at the end of the year after more than fifty years of service in order to enjoy his well-earned retirement.”
