Intralot: Απορρίφθηκε η προσφορά για τον διαγωνισμό στο Maryland
Η Intralot A.E. ενημερώνει το επενδυτικό κοινό ότι η Επιτροπή Λοταριών και Παιγνίων της Πολιτείας του Maryland, Η.Π.Α. παρά την αρχική θετική εισήγηση, τελικώς απέρριψε την προσφορά της θυγατρικής της εταιρίας Intralot, Inc. σχετικά με την απονομή συμβολαίου για ένα νέο Κεντρικό Σύστημα Παρακολούθησης και Ελέγχου Λοταριών στην εν λόγω Πολιτεία, για λόγους που άπτονται την μη επίτευξη του ελάχιστου ποσοστού αναθέσεων τμημάτων του έργου σε τοπικούς υπεργολάβους.
Πρόκειται για μια απόφαση η οποία προκαλεί τεράστια έκπληξη αφού αφενός, η Intralot, Inc. ανέθεσε σε τοπικούς υπεργολάβους ποσοστό του έργου αρκετά υψηλότερο του ελάχιστου αποδεκτού και αφετέρου, έδωσε λεπτομερέστατες διευκρινίσεις στην Επιτροπή, η οποία είχε πλήρη γνώση όσον αφορά στην ταυτότητα και τον ρόλο αυτών των υπεργολάβων.
Έτσι, η Επιτροπή απεφάνθη αρχικά ότι όλοι οι συμμετέχοντες στον διαγωνισμό συμμορφώνονταν με τις απαιτήσεις της σχετικής διακήρυξης, κάτι που άλλωστε και η ίδια αναγνωρίζει.
Η Εταιρεία επιφυλάσσεται παντός νομίμου δικαιώματος της και προτίθεται να ασκήσει κάθε ένδικο δικαίωμα της προκειμένου να διασφαλίσει τα συμφέροντα των μετόχων της.
Η προσφορά που υπέβαλε η Intralot, Inc. είναι άρτια και η πλέον οικονομική, μακράν της δεύτερης, με αποτέλεσμα η Πολιτεία του Maryland να απωλέσει σημαντικό οικονομικό όφελος.
