SCOR – Yves Cormier is appointed Head of Investor Relations

SCOR announces the appointment of Yves Cormier as Head of Investor Relations, with effect from today. Reporting to Ian Kelly, Group Chief Financial Officer, Yves will be based in London.
Commenting on the appointment, Ian Kelly said: “I am delighted that Yves is joining us as Head of Investor Relations. As we move towards the unveiling of our next strategic plan at the end of March, his experience and expertise will be extremely valuable in terms of continuing to engage proactively with shareholders and sharing the Group’s roadmap for value creation with the market.”
Biography
Yves Cormier joins SCOR from Rothschild, where he spent the last six years advising European insurers on corporate finance and strategy matters. Prior to Rothschild, Yves worked for JPMorgan, BNP Paribas and AXA, where he led the strategy of the business unit Axa Global Direct. He brings over 15 years of experience in the insurance sector across capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, investor analytics, balance sheet management and other strategic leadership activities. Yves holds a Master of Engineering from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD.
Bernd Sablowsky follows Carsten Werle as Head of Investor Relations at TALANX

With effect from 16 August 2021, Bernd Sablowsky will take over as Head of Investor Relations at Talanx AG and thus assume responsibility for global communications with investors, analysts and rating agencies. Carsten Werle is leaving the company at his own request in order to set up his own business with a new professional project from the autumn.
Bernd Sablowsky (51) has been Head of M&A for Talanx AG since 2018 and will take on the new role in addition to his role as Head of M&A. He has many years of capital market and management experience, particularly from his time in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, and has supported a large number of IPOs and capital increases as well as takeover transactions in his professional career. Carsten Werle (49) started in the Investor Relations department of Talanx AG on 1 November 2011. He contributed to the successful IPO and took over as head of the department in September 2013.

Yaniv Bitton appointed Sun Life’s Head of Investor Relations & Capital Markets

Sun Life Financial Inc. announced the appointment of Yaniv Bitton as Vice-President, Head of Investor Relations & Capital Markets. In this expanded role, Yaniv will serve as the primary spokesperson to the investment community, overseeing equity and fixed income analyst and investor communications, as well as leading Sun Life’s capital markets function which includes the capital funding program and rating agency relationships.
Yaniv will continue to report to Leigh Chalmers, Senior Vice-President, Head of Corporate Finance and Capital Management. Leigh oversees Sun Life’s Corporate Finance functions for Enterprise Services/IT, Global Expenses, Corporate Tax, Financial Planning and Reporting, Investor Relations and Capital Management.
ABN AMRO schedules Investor Update for 30 November and appoints new Head of Investor Relations

ABN AMRO will host the previously announced Investor Update in the morning of Monday 30 November. The event will be held virtually. During the event, ABN AMRO will present the outcome of its strategy review, which will entail clear choices while also addressing operational efficiency, financial targets and capital. Details on how to participate in the event will be shared at a later date.
In addition, ABN AMRO has appointed Ferdinand Vaandrager as Head of Investor Relations with effect from 1 October 2020. Ferdinand acquired over twenty years of experience in financial and capital markets at various international banks. He re-joined ABN AMRO in 2012 as Head of Equities in the Global Markets division and until recently headed the overall Sales organisation.
