Maria Rontogianni is appointed Executive General Manager at Alpha Bank
Maria Rontogianni joins Alpha Bank and is appointed Executive General Manager, effective as of April 1, 2020. Ms. Rontogianni will become Head of Group Internal Audit at Alpha Bank on May 1, 2020, following the completion of the disclosures and procedures required by law. “We are very pleased to welcome Maria Rontogianni to Alpha Bank. Short CV of Maria Rontogianni She was born in 1973. She studied Public Accounting and Marketing at Fordham University, New York. She has a 25-year experience in the broader scope of internal audit and joins the Bank after being Senior Vice President, Group Audit and Risk Management at Deutsche Telekom. From 2009 and until her move to Bonn, she was Group Chief Internal Auditor at the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE). She was also Director of Internal Audit at Wind Telecommunications and Lamda Development, while earlier in her career she worked for a number of years at Arthur Andersen in Athens as well as at JP Morgan and the National Futures Association in New York.
Liberty Mutual Re promotes Juan Felipe Londoño to General Manager Colombia
Liberty Mutual Re (LM Re), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has promoted Juan Felipe Londoño to the position of General Manager Colombia, with responsibility for the Andean Region and Panama, reporting to Miguel Martinez-Alvarez, Head of Business Development & Latin America. Juan Felipe’s promotion takes effect immediately.
Before his promotion Juan Felipe was Northern Latin America Treaty Underwriting Manager in Bogota a position he held since 2017. He was responsible for managing LMRe’s client portfolio and growing their footprint in the region. Prior to joining Liberty, he held various senior positions at JLT Re and Swiss Re, including P&C and L&H Treaties Vice President for the Andean Region at the latter.
Commenting on the promotion, Miguel Martinez-Alvarez said: “I’m delighted that Juan Felipe has accepted the promotion to lead Liberty Mutual Re’s operation in Colombia. I am confident that he will lead the team to continue to deliver the seamless, world-class service and support to clients and brokers that they have come to expect in the region”.
The Latin America team will be reorganized as follows: Miguel Martínez-Alvarez will continue heading the region, operating out of the Cologne and Madrid offices and the general managers from the offices in Latin America will report to him directly.
Rosa Flores and Fabiano Salvatori will continue in their positions as General Managers of the Mexico and Brazil offices respectively, servicing the Mexico & Central America and the Brazil & South Cone regions.Juan Felipe Londoño replaces Jose Ernesto Ospina who left the company by mutual agreement to pursue personal endeavours. Emmanuel Sardet has been appointed General Manager of Crédit Agricole Group Infrastructure Platform
Emmanuel Sardet has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Group Infrastructure Platform (CA-GIP) as of 1 August 2019. He will be taking over from Pierre Guillemet, who is retiring.
Since 1 January 2019, CA-GIP incorporates the infrastructures and IT production activities of Crédit Agricole Assurances, Crédit Agricole CIB, Crédit Agricole Technologies et Services and the SILCA entity.
With 1,600 employees and 18 sites nationwide in France, Crédit Agricole Group Infrastructure Platform encompasses nearly 80% of Crédit Agricole Group’s infrastructures and IT production and is governed jointly by the Regional Banks and Crédit Agricole S.A.
Crédit Agricole Group Infrastructure Platform is intended to become a leading technology hub, attractive for its employees, new talents and technology partners.
Bio
Emmanuel Sardet began his career at the Paribas Group, where he held positions at La Compagnie Bancaire, Crédit du Nord and Paribas in the areas of strategy, risk, and commercial development for the agency network and internal audit. He then joined GE Capital Consumer Finance in France to lead the operational transformation of business and IT integration.
Emmanuel Sardet continued his career at Accenture, where he accompanied European, American and Asian players in banking, insurance and capital markets through their technology-driven structural transformations. He also held European and global roles in that financial services industry, heading up IT strategy, cloud, infrastructure outsourcing and technology consulting.
He joined Crédit Agricole in September 2018, becoming a member of CA-GIP’s General Management as Deputy General Manager.
Emmanuel Sardet is a graduate of the Telecom Paris Tech school of engineering.
