Signing of New Collective Labor Agreement in PPA
PPA S.A. announces the successful completion of the discussions between the PPA Management and the Labor Unions (OMYLE) and the signing of the new Collective Labor Agreement with the employees’ representatives of the Company, for a three-year period.
As the Chairman of the BoD of PPA S.A. Mr. Yu Zenggang stated: The signing of the new CLA is a result of the good cooperation between Management and employees as well as the successful financial results. It also reflects the common aim of developing the port of Piraeus to an even higher level”.
It is noted that Collective Labor Agreement has already been signed with the Union of Dockworkers and the Union of Supervisors & Foremen.
ThPA S.A.: New Dockworkers’ three-year Collective Labor Agreement
ThPA S.A. announced the successful completion of the constructive dialogue with the Federation of Stevedores of Greece (OFE) and the final agreement for the three-year period (2023-2025) Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) to regulate the terms of wages and working conditions of the Company’s dockworkers’ employees.
The President of OFE, Simeon Leftheriotis, stressed: “Today we agreed with the Management of ThPA S.A. on the new three-year Collective Labor Agreement which is result of positive collective bargaining and is governed by mutually beneficial terms for all parties. The safeguarding of wages and working conditions of dockworkers contributes to strengthening the sense of job security and peaceful working environment”.
The Executive Chairman of the BoD & Managing Director of ThPA S.A., Thanos Liagkos, stated: “The maintenance of a modern working environment is the result of collective effort, close cooperation and productive dialogue and is a key concern of ThPA S.A. In this context, the signing of the three-year Collective Labor Agreement with OFE, highlights our commitment to the continuous development of the Port of Thessaloniki”.
PPA SA: Renewal of the Collective Labor Agreement with the Workers’ Union
The Management of PPA S.A. is pleased to announce the signing of the renewed collective labor agreement with a duration of three years following the the fruitful dialogue in a good climate with the Workers’ Union.
The new contract provides for gradual increases for three years and additional benefits for the dockworkers of the port.
PPA’s chairman Mr. Yu Zenggang expressed his full satisfaction stating: “The Management of PPA always takes care for all employees aiming at their welfare and professional development”.
PPA S.A.: Signing of new Collective Labor Agreement with the Union of Supervisors & Foremen
PPA S.A. and the Union of Supervisors & Foremen on Monday, June 20th, 2022 signed a new three year Collective Labor Agreement, following the necessary negotiation procedures. The above agreement was also signed by the President of the Greece Federation of Loaders and uploaders.
PPA’s Chairman, Yu Zenggang, pleased with the completion of the signing procedure of the collective contract said: “the agreements that took place in the previous period in a positive and cooperative climate, led to the achievement of the signing of the contract on mutually beneficial terms, ensuring the workers, but also the port service.
Together, we will continue through our consistent work and dedication to maintain the Port of Piraeus’s position among the top and most significant ports in the world.”
