Καθήκοντα Chief Operations Officer στη MEGA BROKERS αναλαμβάνει η Μαρι-Λωρ Μαμάνη

Η MEGA BROKERS ανακοινώνει την ένταξη της Μαρι-Λωρ Μαμάνη στη διοικητική της ομάδα, η οποία αναλαμβάνει καθήκοντα Chief Operations Officer (COO).
Η Μαρι-Λωρ Μαμάνη διαθέτει μακρά και επιτυχημένη επαγγελματική διαδρομή στον ασφαλιστικό κλάδο και στον ευρύτερο τομέα των χρηματοοικονομικών υπηρεσιών. Έχει διατελέσει σε θέσεις υψηλής ευθύνης, συμβάλλοντας ουσιαστικά στον στρατηγικό σχεδιασμό, τη βελτιστοποίηση λειτουργιών και την ενίσχυση της επιχειρησιακής αποδοτικότητας των οργανισμών στους οποίους έχει δραστηριοποιηθεί. Μέσα από τη νέα της θέση στη MEGA BROKERS, θα έχει την ευθύνη για τον συντονισμό και την περαιτέρω ανάπτυξη των λειτουργικών δομών της εταιρείας, με στόχο τη συνεχή βελτίωση των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών και την ενίσχυση της συνολικής εμπειρίας συνεργατών και πελατών.
Με αφορμή την ανάληψη των καθηκόντων της, ο Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της MEGA BROKERS, κ. Lloyd’s announces Bob James as new Chief Operations Officer

Bob James has taken over COO responsibilities from CFO Burkhard Keese, effective 14 March 2023. 
Broadened role reflects Lloyd’s commitment to aligning Blueprint Two delivery with wider Corporation operations.
Deputy CFO Alex Cliff will join Lloyd’s Executive Committee with immediate effect.

Lloyd’s, the world’s leading marketplace for commercial, corporate and specialty risk solutions, announced a number of changes to its Executive Committee, which strengthen the Corporation’s strategic focus in 2023 to deliver against its priorities of performance, digitalisation, purpose and culture. 
Bob James, previously Lloyd’s Market Transformation Director, will assume the role of Chief Operations Officer* for Lloyd’s with immediate effect, and will focus on aligning the Blueprint Two programme with the wider Corporation Operations function.
Bob brings over 30 years of experience in roles covering underwriting, technology, sales, marketing, banking advisory and operations. He began his career in the Operations function at Allstate Insurance in the United States, and has served as the Chief Operations Officer for CNA Commercial Insurance, and QBE North America. He was also the Executive Vice President for MGA Operations and Chief Human Resources Officer at private equity sponsored intermediary, The Amynta Group.
Burkhard Keese will continue as Lloyd’s Chief Financial Officer, with a particular focus on growing the Lloyd’s Investment Platform and risk transformation vehicle London Bridge to attract new capital providers.
Deputy CFO Alex Cliff will join Lloyd’s Executive Committee with immediate effect. Alex will continue to report into Burkhard.
Alex joined Lloyd’s in November 2022 and has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, having held senior finance roles in insurance and broking firms including Direct Line Group, StarStone, and AJ Gallagher. Alex is a Chartered Accountant, and spent eight years at PwC in both London and the US.

Brent Hoffman to Join Everest Reinsurance as Head of Claims and Chief Operations Officer

Everest Reinsurance, the reinsurance division of Everest Re Group, Ltd. announced Brent Hoffman will join the company as Senior Vice President, Head of Claims and Chief Operations Officer at the end of July. He will report directly to Jim Williamson, Everest Group Chief Operating Officer and Head of Reinsurance.
Hoffman will have dual responsibility for overseeing key aspects of business operations and leading the global Reinsurance Claims function. His deep technical expertise will help to drive operational efficiencies and best practices consistently across the organization.

Hoffman comes to Everest with more than 25 years of industry and legal experience and a proven track record for managing high-performing teams. Most recently, he was AXA XL’s Chief Claims Officer, responsible for leading its global claims strategy and operations to support claims excellence across multiple business lines and geographies. Prior to joining AXA XL, Hoffman held several leadership positions at The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., where he led teams responsible for claims, litigation, and settlement strategies. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College and a Juris Doctor from The Dickinson School of Law. Hoffman currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the RAND Institute for Civil Justice and the Board of Trustees for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford.

ING to appoint Marnix van Stiphout as chief operations officer, chief transformation officer and member of the Management Board Banking

ING announced the appointment of Marnix van Stiphout as chief operations officer and chief transformation officer (COO/CTO) and member of the Management Board Banking. Marnix takes up his position on 1 September 2021, succeeding Roel Louwhoff, who stepped down from the Management Board Banking on 1 August 2021.
Marnix van Stiphout has broad banking experience with deep expertise in operations and transformation programmes across Wholesale and Retail Banking, as well as orchestrating, streamlining and improving global and local processes, including for Know Your Customer (KYC).
Marnix, who is Dutch, joined ING in 1998. He started in Global Equity Markets Sales and Research in London and in 2008 became global head of Value Chain Management for ING Financial Markets. In 2014, Marnix was appointed COO of ING Wholesale Banking, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations and global transformation. This included simplifying the organisation and applying technology in the design and implementation of a cross-border customer experience. Since October 2020, Marnix has been COO of Retail Banking.
Marnix holds a degree in Financial Economics from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a degree in Economics from the London Metropolitan University.
His appointment has been approved by the European Central Bank. As of 1 September 2021, the composition of ING’s Management Board Banking will be as follows:
