Attica Bank: Appointment of Marina Nikolaou as new Chief Insurance Business Officer
Attica Bank announces that Mrs. Marina Nikolaou joins the Attica Bank’s management team and assumes the position of Chief Insurance Business Officer with effect from 26.08.2024 and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. Mrs. Nikolaou is also joining as a member the Bank’s Executive Committee. Following the appointment of Mrs. Nicolaou, Attica Bank builds up Bancassurance and insurance services into a separate pillar and key revenue center, fully interwoven with the strategy and implementation of the new Bank’s business plan. The aim is to further expand synergies with the Wealth Management pillar that have already been developed by Pancreta Bank, following the approval of the merger.

Marina Nikolaou has an extensive experience and deep knowledge of the domestic and international insurance market, having held positions of increased responsibility in the banking and insurance industry. From 2013 until recently, she held the position of Managing Director of Piraeus Insurance Agency S.A., a subsidiary of the Piraeus Group. She has been working in the insurance sector for the last twentyeight years, starting her career at ETVA in 1991 and then taking over in 2006 the Technical Directorate of Piraeus Insurance & Reinsurance Brokerage S.A. Mrs. Nikolaou has extensive knowledge and a successful track record in reorganizing and developing bank insurance operations. She studied Economic Science at Piraeus University and is a graduate of the Department of Business and Organization Management of the Hellenic Open University

Η Attica Bank ανακοινώνει ότι η κυρία Μαρίνα Νικολάου εντάσσεται στη διοικητική ομάδα της Attica Bank, αναλαμβάνοντας τη θέση της Γενικής Διευθύντριας Ασφαλιστικών Υπηρεσιών (Chief Insurance Business Officer) με ισχύ από 26.08.2024, αναφερόμενη στη Διευθύνουσα Σύμβουλο. Επίσης, εντάσσεται ως μέλος στην Εκτελεστική Επιτροπή της Τράπεζας. Με την τοποθέτηση της κυρίας Νικολάου, η Attica Bank εξελίσσει το Bancassurance και τις ασφαλιστικές υπηρεσίες σε ξεχωριστό πυλώνα και βασικό κέντρο εσόδων, απόλυτα συνυφασμένο με τη στρατηγική και την υλοποίηση του επιχειρηματικού πλάνου της νέας Τράπεζας. Στόχος είναι μετά την έγκριση της συγχώνευσης να διευρυνθούν περαιτέρω οι συνέργειες και με τον πυλώνα Διαχείρισης Περιουσίας (Wealth Management) που έχει ήδη αναπτύξει η Παγκρήτια Τράπεζα.

Η κυρία Μαρίνα Νικολάου διαθέτει μακρόχρονη εμπειρία και βαθιά γνώση της εγχώριας και διεθνούς ασφαλιστικής αγοράς, έχοντας διατελέσει σε θέσεις αυξημένης ευθύνης στον Τραπεζικό και Ασφαλιστικό κλάδο. Από το 2013 μέχρι πρόσφατα κατείχε τη θέση της Διευθύνουσας Συμβούλου της Πειραιώς Πρακτορειακής (Piraeus Insurance Agency S.A.), θυγατρικής του Ομίλου Πειραιώς. Εργάζεται στον ασφαλιστικό τομέα τα τελευταία είκοσι οκτώ χρόνια, ξεκινώντας την επαγγελματική πορεία της από την ΕΤΒΑ το 1991 και αναλαμβάνοντας στη συνέχεια από το 2006 την Τεχνική Διεύθυνση της Πειραιώς Μεσιτικής (Piraeus Insurance & Reinsurance Brokerage S.A.). Η κα Νικολάου διαθέτει εκτεταμένη γνώση και επιτυχημένη πορεία στην αναδιοργάνωση και ανάπτυξη των ασφαλιστικών εργασιών στις τράπεζες. Σπούδασε στο Τμήμα Οικονομικής Επιστήμης του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιά και είναι πτυχιούχος του τμήματος Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων και Οργανισμών του Ελληνικού Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου.
