Ο Όμιλος Τράπεζας Πειραιώς ανακοίνωσε ότι η κα Στυλιανή Γοναλάκη αναλαμβάνει καθήκοντα Διευθύνουσας Συμβούλου, Chief Executive Officer, στην Πειραιώς Factoring Α.Ε.
Η κα Γοναλάκη, η οποία εντάχθηκε στον Όμιλο Πειραιώς τον Μάρτιο του 2013, διαθέτει εμπειρία 29 ετών στον χρηματοπιστωτικό τομέα, τα τελευταία δε 6 χρόνια διετέλεσε Διευθύντρια στο Non Core Business Restructuring Portfolio. Από τις 22 Οκτωβρίου 2019 εκτελούσε καθήκοντα Acting General Manager στην Πειραιώς Factoring.
H κα Γοναλάκη είναι απόφοιτος Οικονομικών από το Πανεπιστήμιο Πειραιά.

Mike Morrissey Retires As IIS President & Chief Executive Officer

The International Insurance Society and The Institutes have announced that Mike Morrissey will retire as President and Chief Executive Officer, after more than eleven years in the position.
After fifteen years as an active corporate member of the IIS, Mike was chosen to become its fifth CEO in early 2009. In addition to running ten of the IIS’ signature events, the Global Insurance Forum, he is responsible for numerous innovations, including the Global Insurance Stock Review, the Leaders of Tomorrow Program, the Vanguard Market Development Award, the Global Centers of Insurance Excellence and the Leadership Perspective: Global Pandemic webinar series. 
The role of the IIS as the inclusive and diverse voice for the industry and all its stakeholders grew significantly under his leadership.  Mike elevated the role of the IIS and the insurance industry with international institutions.  Under his leadership the IIS became a founding supporting institution of the United Nations’  Principles for Sustainable Insurance, and the founding organization and Secretariat of the Insurance Development Forum, a public/private partnership led by the global insurance industry, the UN and the World Bank.  The IDF was established to leverage the industry’s risk assessment and investing capabilities to enable the world’s most disaster-exposed governments, communities and populations enhance risk understanding and build resilience, and Mike has been a Steering Committee member since its inception.
Commenting on his decision, Morrissey said “It has been an honor and a privilege to lead this important organization during this challenging period.  Now that the integration of the IIS affiliation with The Institutes is substantially complete, the timing is right for a leadership change to drive the next phase in the life of the IIS.  I look forward to working with The Institutes and my successor as Special Advisor, to effect a smooth transition and ensure continuity, and I am confident that the IIS has a bright future.”

Carlos González-Perandones Chief Executive Officer Nationale-Nederlanden Spain

Carlos González-Perandones, currently Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of Nationale-Nederlanden Spain, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Nationale-Nederlanden Spain, effective 1 June. This follows Cornelia Coman’s decision to leave NN Group to pursue opportunities outside the company.  
Carlos joined Nationale-Nederlanden in Spain in 1995 in the Group and Pensions department. Over the years he held various roles with increasing responsibility in the Operations, Actuarial and Employee benefits departments in Spain and internationally. In 2010, he became responsible for Product Development and Bancassurance. Since 2014, he has been leading the commercial activities of Nationale-Nederlanden Spain, as Chief Sales Officer.

MS Amlin Insurance SE appoints new Chief Executive Officer and Chief Risk Officer

MS Amlin Insurance Societas Europaea (MS AISE), today announces the appointments of Ludovic Sénécaut as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Rogier Peters as Chief Risk Officer (CRO).
Ludovic replaces interim CEO Rudy Benmeridja who will return to his role of Chief Underwriting Officer for P&C Europe and Country Manager for Belgium. He brings a wealth of leadership and industry experience, having spent fifteen years in Euler Hermes Group and has held a number of senior positions such as Group COO, CEO Northern and Eastern Europe. Latterly he served as Chief Executive Officer for the Kerudys Group.
Rogier replaces CRO Martyn Rodden, who will transition to a new role as Deputy CEO of MS AUL, [MS AISE sister company operating at Lloyd’s]. He is a qualified actuary who joins from Ageas UK where he served as CRO. He has held a number of senior risk positions in the insurance sector internationally and across Ageas Group.
Alongside these two key management roles, MS Amlin has also appointed Robert Dickie and Monika Sebold-Bender as Non-Executive directors to the MS AISE Board. They are highly experienced industry practitioners who bring many years of combined leadership experience in banking and insurance to the business. Monika will also chair the MS AISE Underwriting Oversight Committee.

David Capdevila appointed new CEO of Atradius

At its meeting on 31 October 2019, the Board of Directors of Grupo Catalana Occidente and the Supervisory Board of Atradius N.V. approved the appointment of David Capdevila as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Atradius. Capdevila succeeds Isidoro Unda, who has announced his departure after 12 years as the credit insurer’s CEO. These changes will take effect from 1 January 2020.
The Chairman of Grupo Catalana Occidente, José María Serra, thanked Isidoro Unda for his dedication throughout his career within the insurance group and particularly highlighted his role “in the development and consolidation of Atradius as the leading company in international credit insurance.”
Unda was appointed CEO of Atradius N.V. in April 2007 when the companies Crédito y Caución, and Atradius N.V. announced their merger. Previously, Unda had served as CEO at Crédito y Caución since 2001.
Career of the new CEO
David Capdevila holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration and Actuarial Insurance and a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Management from IESE. He joined Grupo Catalana Occidente in 1992 as Director for Organisation and Quality and, since then, has assumed different responsibilities in the Group and its different companies.
In 2016 he was appointed CEO of Plus Ultra Seguros. Previously, between 2006 and 2013, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Crédito y Caución, and was Chief Market Officer (CMO) and a member of Atradius’ Management Board from 2010 to 2013.
José María Serra also praised the commitment of David Capdevila. “I am convinced that the appointment of David as the CEO of Atradius will boost the positioning of Atradius as a global credit insurer”, he said.
