Capital Gas Ship Management Corp. Takes Delivery of The World’s First 22,000cbm LCO2/Multi-Gas Carrier “Active”

Capital Gas Ship Management Corp. took successful delivery of the world’s first 22,000 cbm low-pressure liquid CO2 (“LCO2”) / Multigas carrier, the Active, from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co., Ltd. (“HMD”).
The Active is the first of four 22,000 cbm LCO2/multi-gas sister carriers to be delivered by HMD in 2026. The vessel is designed to transport LCO2 and features multi-cargo capability: LCO2, LPG, ammonia, and selected petrochemicals.
The Active recently won the Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping 2025 “Ship of the Year” Award “for opening a new chapter in future carbon transportation solutions” and its “revolutionary tank technology and multi-cargo flexibility”.

Capital Gas Ship Management: LNG/C ‘Asklipios’ flies the Greek flag

Capital Gas Ship Management Corp. has successfully completed the registration process of the LNG/C ‘Asklipios’ (‘ΑΣΚΛΗΠΙΟΣ’) to the Greek registry. LNG/C ‘Asklipios’ is now sailing around the world flying the Greek flag.
The LNG/C ‘Asklipios’ is a 81,451 dwt, eco-type LNG carrier, built in 2021 by Hyundai Heavy Industries, in S.Korea. With a cargo capacity of 174,000 m3, the vessel is highly efficient, propelled with XDF engines and equipped with the latest available technologies, including an air lubrication system and increased filling limits (excess 99%).
The change of flag on the ‘Asklipios’ took place at the port of Milford Haven (South Hook LNG Terminal), in the United Kingdom (UK), in the presence of the Maritime Attaché of London, Captain of the Hellenic Coast Guard, Ms. Aikaterini Stamou.

Capital Gas Ship Management Takes Delivery of LNG Carrier ‘Attalos’

Capital Gas Ship Management Corp. took successful delivery of the newbuilding LNG Carrier ‘Attalos’, built by Hyundai Heavy Industries, S.Korea. With cargo capacity of 174,000 m3, the vessel is highly efficient, propelled with XDF engines and equipped with the latest available technologies, including an air lubrication system and increased filling limits (excess 99%). It is the fourth of nine vessels to be delivered between 2020-2023. The vessel has been chartered to BP for a period up to 13 years.

Την παραλαβή του νεότευκτου πλοίου μεταφοράς υγροποιημένου φυσικού αερίου (LNG carrier) «Aristarchos» ανακοίνωσε η Capital Gas Ship Management, συμφερόντων Ευάγγελου Μαρινάκη.
Το νεότευκτο LNG carrier είναι χωρητικότητας 174.000 κυβικών μέτρων (m3) και ναυπηγήθηκε από τη νοτιοκορεάτικη Hyundai Heavy Industries.
Πρόκειται για το τρίτο από τα επτά ίδιου τύπου πλοία, που παραδίδονται στην Capital Gas για το χρονικό διάστημα 2020-2023. Το «Aristarchos» έχει ήδη ναυλωθεί από την Capital Gas στη Cheniere για μία περίοδο έως 6 ετών.
Το «Aristarchos» είναι ιδιαίτερα αποδοτικό, διαθέτει σύστημα πρόωσης XDF -που καταναλώνει 30% λιγότερα καύσιμα- και είναι εξοπλισμένο με τις πλέον σύγχρονες τεχνολογίες, συμπεριλαμβανομένων ενός βελτιωμένου συστήματος λίπανσης της γάστρας του πλοίου με φυσαλίδες αέρα (air lubrication system) και αυξημένων ορίων πλήρωσης (πάνω από 99%).
Η Capital Gas Ship Management Corp. διαχειρίζεται έναν στόλο από επτά LNG carriers, τέσσερα υπό κατασκευή και τρία εν λειτουργία, με συνολική μεταφορική ικανότητα περίπου 1,2 εκατ. m3.

Capital Gas Ship Management Corp. took successful delivery today of the newbuilding LNG Carrier ‘Aristidis I’, built by Hyundai Heavy Industries, S.Korea. With cargo capacity of 174,000 m3, the vessel is highly efficient, propelled with XDF engines and equipped with the latest available technologies, including an air lubrication system and increased filling limits (up to 93,5%). It is the second of seven sister ships to be delivered between 2020-2023. The vessel has been chartered to BP Shipping for a period up to 12 years.
