Alpha Bank: Για 5η συνεχή χρονιά στο Bloomberg Gender – Equality Index (GEI)
Η Alpha Bank ανακοίνωσε ότι εντάχθηκε για πέμπτη συνεχή χρονιά στο διεθνή δείκτη Ισότητας Φύλων Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI). Η τράπεζα ήταν η πρώτη ελληνική τράπεζα που συμπεριλήφθηκε στο δείκτη, και μία από τις 5 ελληνικές επιχειρήσεις που συμμετέχουν σε αυτόν, σε σύνολο 418 οργανισμών παγκοσμίως.
Η σταθερή παρουσία της στο δείκτη, επισφραγίζει την πρόοδο που έχει σημειώσει ο Όμιλος στα θέματα Διαφορετικότητας, Ισότητας και Συμπερίληψης, με στόχο την ενίσχυση μίας εργασιακής κουλτούρας που προωθεί τη διαρκή ενδυνάμωση των Εργαζομένων, τη μισθολογική ισότητα, τις ίσες ευκαιρίες προσωπικής και επαγγελματικής εξέλιξης και την ισότιμη αξιολόγηση και επιβράβευση.
Η επικέντρωση της Alpha Bank στη γυναικεία ενδυνάμωση αντικατοπτρίζεται από το γεγονός ότι, το 2022, το ποσοστό αντιπροσώπευσης των γυναικών στο Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο της Τράπεζας ξεπέρασε το 30%.Σήμερα, οι γυναίκες αποτελούν το 62% και το 56% των εργαζομένων σε επίπεδο Ομίλου και στην Ελλάδα, αντίστοιχα, ενώ το 57% των στελεχών σε Διευθυντικές και άλλες θέσεις ευθύνης στον Όμιλο είναι γυναίκες.Η Chief Human Resources Officer του Ομίλου, Φραγκίσκη Μελίσσα δήλωσε: «Για εμάς στην Alpha Bank, η Διαφορετικότητα, η Ισότητα και η Συμπερίληψη αποτελούν τα θεμέλια πάνω στα οποία χτίζουμε την Τράπεζα του Αύριο και είμαστε περήφανοι για την αναγνώριση που λαμβάνουμε όσον αφορά στη γυναικεία ενδυνάμωση».
Δέσμη δράσεων για τη γυναικεία ενδυνάμωση
Μέσα από πρωτοποριακά προγράμματα mentoring, η Alpha Bank υποστηρίζει ενεργά τις γυναίκες σε κάθε στάδιο της ζωής και της καριέρας τους. Στο πλαίσιο της στρατηγικής Εταιρικής Υπευθυνότητας της Τράπεζας, το 2022, η Alpha Bank σε συνεργασία με τη ΜΚΟ Women Do Business, διοργάνωσαν το “Leadership Academy for Women Leaders”, μία τρίμηνη Διαδικτυακή Ακαδημία Ενδυνάμωσης με τη συμμετοχή 30 γυναικών διευθυντικών στελεχών του Δικτύου Καταστημάτων της Τράπεζας. Παράλληλα, οι δύο οργανισμοί δημιούργησαν και μία τρίμηνη Διαδικτυακή Ακαδημία Ενδυνάμωσης και Επιχειρηματικότητας, όπου 30 πρώην Εργαζόμενες της Alpha Bank, εκπαιδεύτηκαν στο πώς να δημιουργήσουν τη δική τους κοινωνική επιχείρηση.
Υπενθυμίζεται ότι αφετηρία των εσωτερικών δράσεων γυναικείας ενδυνάμωσης, αποτέλεσε το πρόγραμμα A.W.A.R.E. (Alpha Women. Authentic, Resilient, Empowered), το οποίο η Τράπεζα θέσπισε το 2021 και μετεξελίχθηκε στα επιμέρους προγράμματα “Trading Alpha Brains” και “SheforHe”.

Piraeus Financial Holdings announced that it is one of 418 companies across 45 countries and regions to join the 2022 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI), a modified market capitalization-weighted index that aims to track the performance of public companies committed to transparency in gender-data reporting. This reference index measures gender equality across five pillars: female leadership & talent pipeline, equal pay & gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies, and pro-women brand.
The 2022 GEI expands globally to represent 45 countries and regions, including firms headquartered in Colombia and Uruguay for the first time. Member companies represent a variety of sectors, including financials, technology and utilities, which collectively have the highest company representation in the index.

Piraeus Financial Holdings submitted a social survey created by Bloomberg, in collaboration with subject matter experts globally. Those included on this year’s index scored at or above a global threshold established by Bloomberg to reflect disclosure and the achievement or adoption of best-in-class statistics and policies.
Both the survey and the GEI are voluntary and have no associated costs. Bloomberg collected this data for reference purposes only. The index is not ranked. While all public companies are encouraged to disclose supplemental gender data for their company’s investment profile on the Bloomberg Terminal®, those that have a market capitalization of USD 1 billion are eligible for inclusion in the Index.

Η Alpha Bank, η οποία αξιολογήθηκε για την ένταξή της στον GEI βάσει στατιστικών στοιχείων, διακρίθηκε και φέτος για τις υψηλές της επιδόσεις στη δημιουργία ενός εργασιακού περιβάλλοντος ίσων ευκαιριών, καθώς και για τις προβλεπόμενες πολιτικές, τα προγράμματα και τις παροχές ανθρωπίνου δυναμικού που απευθύνονται αποκλειστικά σε γυναίκες υπαλλήλους.
