Ο κ. Πέτρος Παπανικολάου αναλαμβάνει CEO στην AGCS και στην Allianz Commercial
Νέος Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (AGCS) αναλαμβάνει, από 1ης Ιανουαρίου 2024, ο κ. Πέτρος Παπανικολάου, επί του παρόντος Δ/νων Σύμβουλος Κεντρικής Ευρώπης του Ομίλου Allianz. Θα αναλάβει, επίσης, την ηγεσία της Allianz Commercial, της εταιρείας του Ομίλου Allianz που εστιάζει στον κλάδο ασφάλισης επαγγελματικής περιουσίας και ατυχημάτων (Mid Corporate, Large Corporate και Specialty πελάτες).
Ο κ. Παπανικολάου θα διαδεχθεί τον κ. Joachim Müller, ο οποίος, έχοντας ηγηθεί της επιτυχημένης εξυγίανσης της AGCS, καθώς και της εκκίνησης και της οργάνωσης της Allianz Commercial, αποφάσισε να αναζητήσει ευκαιρίες εκτός Allianz μετά τη λήξη της σύμβασής του στις 31/12/2023.
Ο κ. Παπανικολάου είναι Δ/νων Σύμβουλος Κεντρικής Ευρώπης από το 2015, με ευθύνη για τις δραστηριότητες της Allianz σε 11 χώρες, ενώ προηγουμένως ήταν Δ/νων Σύμβουλος της Allianz Ελλάδος, από το 2004 έως το 2015, και Γενικός Δ/ντής στους κλάδους Ζωής, Πωλήσεων και Περιουσίας & Ατυχημάτων. Πριν από την ένταξή του στην Allianz, το 1998, υπηρέτησε σε διάφορες θέσεις οικονομικής ευθύνης στην AGF Kosmos, ενώ ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του ως ελεγκτής στην EY. Κατέχει μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο σπουδών στη διοίκηση επιχειρήσεων και το management, μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο σπουδών στις ευρωπαϊκές σπουδές από το Université Catholique de Louvain, καθώς και πτυχίο φιλοσοφίας και λογοτεχνίας από το Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών.

AGCS and Allianz Germany announce leadership changes
Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (AGCS) and Allianz Deutschland AG today announced leadership changes that will take effect from December 1, 2019, subject to regulatory approval.
Joachim Müller, currently CEO of Allianz Versicherungs-AG (the Property & Casualty insurer of Allianz Deutschland) and of Allianz Beratungs- und Vertriebs-AG (ABV, the sales company of Allianz Deutschland), will be appointed as the new CEO of AGCS. He will succeed Chris Fischer Hirs, who will step down as CEO from November 30, 2019.
Andreas Kanning, currently a Board Member at ABV, will become CEO of ABV and a Board Member of Allianz Deutschland AG. Klaus-Peter Röhler, CEO of Allianz Deutschland AG, will take over as CEO of Allianz Versicherungs-AG in addition to his current responsibilities. Joachim Müller is currently also a Board Member of Allianz Deutschland AG, with responsibility for Sales (being CEO of ABV since 2014) and for Property and Casualty insurance (where he has been CEO since 2016). With his extensive experience in the financial services industry, he has successfully demonstrated how long term revenue growth can be combined with sustainable underwriting profitability.
Chris Fischer Hirs joined Allianz in 1999 as Chief Financial Officer of Allianz Risk Transfer AG (ART), and was a key part of the team which established ART as a leading player in the alternative risk transfer sector. He joined the AGCS SE Board in 2007, and held a variety of Board positions contributing to the successful establishment of AGCS, including Chief Regions & Markets Officer and then CFO, before becoming CEO in 2015.
Andreas Kanning joined Allianz in 1995 and took over several managerial tasks in the sales area. From 2012 until 2014, he took over a management role in Human Resources at Allianz Deutschland AG, after which he was appointed to the ABV Management Board. He became responsible for the northern sales region and was appointed Labor Relations Director. Andreas has significantly contributed to the successful development of ABV.

In addition to his role as CEO of Allianz Deutschland AG, Klaus-Peter Röhler will become CEO of Allianz Versicherungs-AG. Klaus-Peter, who has played a key role in the development and introduction of the Allianz Customer Model, will also represent the property and casualty insurance division at the Management Board of Allianz Deutschland AG.
Allianz appoints Linda Regner Dykeman to lead AGCS Canadian business
Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (AGCS) has appointed Linda Regner Dykeman as Chief Agent of Canada. Effective immediately, Dykeman will lead AGCS’ Canadian business operations, reporting to Bill Scaldaferri, AGCS President & CEO for North America.
Based in Toronto, she succeeds Ulrich Kadow, who served as Chief Agent of Canada for more than four years before moving into a new role as AGCS Global Head of Marine, effective July 1, 2019.
Since 2016, Dykeman has been the Head of MidCorp for AGCS Canada. During this time, she developed and executed the MidCorp strategy for Canada, and has overseen a strong and growing team of underwriters and managers. She has more than 25 years of commercial insurance and leadership experience. She first joined Allianz from Travelers Canada where she served as Head of Business Insurance, and also previously held the role of Senior Vice President, Specialty Insurance and National Business Development for Aviva Canada.
A successor to Dykeman as the Head of MidCorp for AGCS Canada will be announced in due time.
