Νέα δεξαμενόπλοια για την Aegean Shipping
Η διεύθυνση της Aegean Shipping με υπερηφάνεια ανακοινώνει ότι στις 24 Δεκεμβρίου 2020 άσκησε την επιλογή της για την απόκτηση του 3ου πλοίου σε συνέχεια της συμφωνίας με την COSCO Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) Co. Ltd. για την κατασκευή δύο συν ένα δεξαμενόπλοιων AFRAMAX από τις 30 Σεπτεμβρίου 2020. Επιπλέον υπέγραψε επιστολή προθέσεως για την κατασκευή ενός ακόμη πλοίου, το τέταρτο στη σειρά.
Με την πρόσθεση αυτών των τεσσάρων πλοίων στον στόλο της AEGEAN, ο συνολικός αριθμός των νέων κατασκευών σε συνεργασία με τα ναυπηγία της Cosco τα τελευταία τέσσερα χρόνια ανέρχεται σε δώδεκα.
Σήμερα ολόκληρος ο στόλος της Aegean Shipping αποτελείται από νεόκτιστα πλοία.
Όλα τα πλοία της Aegean Shipping και ειδικά οι νέες αγορές είναι κατασκευασμένα και πιστοποιημένα να πληρούν τις υψηλότερες, φιλικές προς το περιβάλλον, προδιαγραφές ενισχύοντας τη δέσμευσή μας για την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος.
Με την παραλαβή των τεσσάρων νέων πλοίων ο μέσος όρος ηλικίας του στόλου της AEGEAN θα είναι 2,9 έτη. Ο Κύριος Γ. Μελισσανίδης δήλωσε ότι είναι περήφανος για το προσωπικό της Aegean που κατέβαλε μεγάλη προσπάθεια για την υλοποίηση του οράματος του πλοιοκτήτη.
Aegean Shipping signs the construction of two Aframax vessels
Aegean Shipping Management has entered on 30 September 2020 into an agreement with Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) Co shipyard, China to construct two high specification Aframax (114K dwt tons) tanker vessels.
The Company’s Principal Mr. George Melissanidis signed the final contract and officially placed the order for the new building vessels during the remote ceremony held in Aegean Shipping Management’s and Cosco’s offices respectively.
The two ordered new buildings will be the 9th & 10th consecutive new-building order the Company has placed with COSCO Group in the last 4 years.
Vessels will be classed and supervised during construction by BV and built according to the latest Tier III environmental requirements, certified with the highest ECO friendly class notations enhancing our commitment to the protection of the Environment and strengthening the “Green Fleet” perspective governing our operations.
Both vessels will be ready for delivery on Q4/ 2022.
As of today, the Aegean Shipping Fleet consist of new-building vessels only.
This order heralds a new era of growth for the Company, who remains committed to provide first-class and Environmental friendly services to its Charterers.

Η Aegean Shipping με υπερηφάνεια ανακοινώνει ότι στις 30 Σεπτεμβρίου υπέγραψε συμφωνία μέσω ψηφιακής τελετής με την COSCO Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) Co. Ltd. για την κατασκευή δύο (2) συν ένα (1) δεξαμενόπλοιων AFRAMAX.
Τα νέα πλοία θα είναι το 9ο και το 10ο κατά σειρά με τον Όμιλο COSCO τα τελευταία 4 χρόνια. Σήμερα ολόκληρος ο στόλος της Aegean Shipping αποτελείται απο νεόκτιστα πλοία.
Όλα τα πλοία της Aegean Shipping και ειδικά οι νέες αγορές είναι κατασκευασμένα και πιστοποιημένα να πληρούν τις υψηλότερες φιλικές προς το περιβάλλον προδιαγραφές ενισχύοντας τη δέσμευσή για την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος.
Το νέο συμβόλαιο ενισχύει τις ήδη ισχυρές επιχειρηματικές σχέσεις με τον Όμιλο COSCO και η Aegean Shipping προσβλέπει στη συνέχιση αυτής της επικοικοδομητικής συνεργασίας στο μέλλον.
