HDI Global SE has appointed Dr Barbara Klimaszewski-Blettner as the new Manager for the South-east Region in Germany. In this position, she will take responsibility for the HDI Global locations in Munich, Nuremberg and Leipzig, and for management of the branch office in Munich. The current branch manager in Munich, Thomas Koch, is retiring after a very successful career spanning many years in this position and he will leave the company on 30 September 2021.
Dr Barbara Klimaszewski-Blettner gained her doctorate after taking a degree in business administration at the Institute for Risk Management and Insurance of the University of Munich. Born in Munich, she has spent more than ten years in the insurance industry holding a variety of sales and organisational roles. Her most recent position was at an industrial lines insurer in Southern Germany. She will take up her position at HDI Global SE on 1 September 2021 and will be based in Munich.
